Social Media Challenge Day 3

Lucy Guest Marketing's October Social Media Challenge #3

Archive & Organise

🗂️ Task 1: Archive posts that don’t feel like you anymore.

Go through your feed and hide anything that doesn’t reflect your brand or vibe. You don’t need to delete it, just archive it.

To archive:

• Tap the 3 dots on a post > Archive

• Or, go to Your Profile > Menu > Your Activity > Posts, select multiple posts, then tap Archive at the bottom.

Be honest but kind, we’ve all posted something just for the sake of it. Only keep what shows your business in its best light.

📸 Task 2: Start your October photo folder

Create a space on your phone, desktop or WhatsApp (a group with just you works perfectly) where you can drop in content as you go through the month.

We’ll use these for posts later in the challenge, and future-you will be so glad you did this!

Start collecting photos or videos of:

☕ Coffee or lunch at a local business

🤝 You with a colleague or client

🎯 Something personal — pet, hobby, achievement, trip

📚 Screenshot of a podcast, audiobook, or photos of a book you’re loving

⏱️ Timelapse or B-roll of you working, setting up, driving to a job

🎥 Anything behind-the-scenes or interesting

💡 Plus — keep track of your October highlights.

Big wins, events, busy days, new clients, lovely messages, moments that made you smile…

We’ll wrap it all up on Day 31 with a monthly round-up post.

Done? Reply to this message or send me a DM on Instagram to let me know.

See you tomorrow!

Your Marketing Toolbox #2 Are Business Cards Old Fashioned or Underrated? I know business cards can feel a bit old school, but honestly? I still really rate them. When I give someone a card, I notice they’re far more likely to get in touch. Hi, Let me tell you a quick story. A few months ago we had a flyer through the door for rubbish collection, nothing fancy, just a simple printout. But, as it happened, we were about to get a new sofa and needed the old one gone. My husband sent them an email. But the follow-up (or complete lack of one) meant...
